April 2021 - We are excited to welcome a new staff member to the Hub!

Hope Cataldo is the current 4th grade math and science teacher at Bradford Elementary School. She is the proud sister of 8 amazing siblings and interested in all things music, sports, and animals. Although she loves working with the younger students, she is absolutely ecstatic about working at the Hub with the teens. She can’t wait to support them and find new ways bring their ideas to life, while helping to build a safe and fun environment for all!

March 2021 - Thanks to a grant from the Hypertherm HOPE Foundation, we have established a STEM program at the Hub teen center! We invite teens to come create, build, and challenge themselves. Explore the world of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math on Saturdays at 3:00, starting April 10.

March 24, 2021 - After being closed for much of the winter due to state COVID guidelines, the Hub was able to re-open March 24!

February, 2021 - The Bradford Teen Center has been awarded a $5,000 grant from The George W. Mergens Foundation of Milton, Vermont in support of its ongoing programs to benefit youth from Bradford and surrounding
Vermont towns.

“We are grateful for the Mergens Foundation’s recognition and support of the important work we do with local youth,” said Patrick Peters, Director of The Hub, the home of the teen center. “We look forward to our March 24 reopening, after being closed for the winter because of Covid concerns. The Mergens Foundation grant will help us make a strong re-entry into the community, providing a constructive outlet for the enthusiasm of our teen members.”
