Our teen council was founded in September of 2025 when a few teens came forward and suggested that the youth take a larger part in the center's decision making processes and day to day functions. We were more than happy to accommodate this request and 4 teens volunteered to pilot the project.
These 4 teens worked incredibly hard to drive positive changes at the center and to advocate for teens from a member's perspective. They consulted their peers, helped out at Hub events, became excellent role models, and even fundraised for a trip to Washington DC! In DC, they attended a leadership conference, tried new foods, and visited monuments & museums.
In June of 2026, The Hub held elections to determine the teen council members for the 2026-2027 school year. Besides our departing senior (we'll miss you Anela), all teen members were re-elected as well as three new members-at-large. We are so excited to see what next terms bring and very proud of our fantastic youth leaders!

Bentley Rivers, Vice President
Bentley likes to travel to new places and try new things. He wanted to be Vice President for Teen Council because he thought that it would be nice to try something new that would help people he knows out.
Alivia Hatch, Treasurer & Event Coordinator
Alivia likes to travel abroad to places like Europe. This her second time being event coordinator and treasurer, and likes fundraising for the teen center.
